No permission to access the backup folder
This message means that macOS no longer grants SimpleumSafe access to the folder selected for backups. Your Safe and existing backup files are not deleted by this message.
Restore access to the backup folder
- Make sure that the drive containing the backup folder is connected and that you can open the folder in Finder.
- In SimpleumSafe, open the backup settings and select the backup folder again. Confirm the macOS permission request if one appears.
- If the original folder is no longer available, create a new folder and select it as the backup location.
- Start a backup and check that it completes without the message.
