Keychain error 0: allow access again

The operation couldn’t be completed. (SimpleumCoreMacOS.KeychainPasswordItem.Keychain error 0.)

This error can appear when access to the Keychain was denied at the first start. SimpleumSafe uses one Keychain entry for its encrypted temporary storage; the message does not mean that your Safe data has been lost.

To allow access again, use the following steps:

  1. Close SimpleumSafe
  2. Start the “Terminal” Program
  3. Enter the following command:
    security delete-generic-password -l worksparse.sparsebundle
  1. Start SimpleumSafe again. You will be prompted again to allow access to the Keychain. Confirm the request with your Mac system password.
